So I haven't been to fashion week since '06, but 0 well. I still love everything about it and style.com is gracious enough to let you see every collection presented :) HOWever, its a shame I saw some copying going on. So let's go back to the last season of project runway. Remember the finale show? Well look-a-here! I was on style.com browsing the new collections/trends and i think some ideas were stolen. Okay, volume, shapes, and conservative looks have been constent among everyones lines since '05 or so. But how you gonna steel Leanne's 3-D wave idea from a reality tv show? How low!

To be honest, if I had to pick out of the two, I would go with Chris Kane's. But STILL! YOUR LIKE TWO SEASONS LATE! And that was preceeded by a REALITY SHOW CONTESTANT!

But besides that.... he's a good man. He loves his wife. He prays for his daughters. Reminds me of someone I know :) He's just a good, faithful man. All you can do is respect that. My prayer is that God will keep the Obama's protected through this journey. I also pray that so many will inspire to do better from his example. What a great leader we have. Word on the street is...since he's been elected crime has gone down in our urban communities and test scores in our schools have improved. Its so nice to see that my generation and those following, will know that there was a positive man- not of the dominant race, who stood up for change and succeeded. He's not just rooting for his own, he stands for everyone. It's obvious that he will make a lasting expression.... well hopefully four years from now I can back this up :)

sweethearts, parts, diamonds, and buns

I've been watching red carpets before I even knew what a golden globe award meant. This year I saw only a COUPLE things I didn't like. That was a first. Sweetheart necklines, parts in the hair, diamonds, and buns all in one setting RULES! I was so excited to see this standard all come alive! Gosh I need to upload some of my sketches. Maybe not, you might steal them and give them to Donatella again! Either that, or we just had the same exact vision in 2002, what are the odds. Ok, so honestly I had no clue who this chick was. And when I learned of Olivia Wilde (after Sunday), and googled O...L...I... the first thing that came up was Olive Garden with the most hits, then her! Like WHO is she???? Anyhoo I don't think she's the gorgeous of them all but i loved her look.

What a gem! And I love the dark eye makeup with the lavender! Parted hair, straight, huge diamond studs, and off she goes! The carpet looks dull or is that just me. This was my favorite look of the entire night....

How stunning. You can NEVER go wrong with a bun & studs. I'm telling you!

I've had a headache since I woke up this morning. Maybe I slept too much last night. Iono.

So my holidays were well, and happy new year to my two wonderful fans of this blog :)

I am so excited about this year. I can't wait until 2010 to do a review. Here's my review of 09. Dag I'm trynna think what happened in January, lol. Anyhoo... I worked my butt off...attempted to save for an apartment until my accident in june...thanks to rushing to go to a meeting while eating a grilled honey mustard snack wrap...RIP Blues Clues...welcomed Cookie :)... spent to much money on cookie & her used car repairs...that was my apartment money btw... went to the jazz fest in hampton & va beach... got in a argument with soulstar hahahahaha...okay...i won't comment... started to like dc... then stopped...planned 3 events back to back... all successful and under budget...heyyyyyy i got skills... went to florida...no fun tho, i was working :( ...found out i had haters at work lol... barack obama...had a wack b-day dinner which i had to come waaaaaay out of my pocket for... getting to know dooooooo getting to know more about yooooouuuuuuuu... lol... allentown. roys. cookie got towed. cab ride. lucky strikes. sneaker store (lol). manyunk. chris jazz cafe. standing bass bol aka cello bol. blind movie with like 3 ppl. west chester. sushi. pinot grigio. white zinfandel. new york. bike ride jawn. holly house :). applebees. african spot. philly boys choir. i know its more, that's all thats coming to mind.
